  • Admission fees: Adults ¥420 (¥350), Students (High school and university) ¥250 (¥200), Children (Elementary and junior high school) ¥110 (¥90)
    *This admission fee also enables visitors to view the Main Building exhibitions.
    Figures in parentheses apply to groups of 20 persons or more, university students who use the Museum as part of their course work, high school students writing reports on the Museum, those who have visited the Museum within the previous 3 months, and visitors aged 65 and over (upon presentation of an ID).

    • University students include students at junior colleges, universities, graduate schools, and vocational school students.

    • If you wish to enter via the Natural and Cultural Gardens (for which payment of an admission fee is required), please purchase your Minpaku museum ticket from one of the ticket machines at one of the gardens’ gates. The admission fee will then be waived.
    • Admission is free for holders of a Disabled Persons Handbook and one accompanying person per holder.

    • Admission is free every Saturday for elementary, junior high, and senior high school students. Those visitors will, however, need to pay the admission to the Natural and Cultural Gardens separately if they wish to enter that way.
