About the Conference

The International Conference on Historical Linguistics is held every second year under the auspices of the International Society of Historical Linguistics. The members of the Society’s two committees and other relevant officers are shown here.

 

In the past 10 years, conferences have been held as follows:

・ ICHL15: Melbourne, Australia August 13–17, 2001
・ ICHL16: Copenhagen, Denmark August 11–15, 2003
・ ICHL17: Madison, Wisconsin, U.S.A. July 31–August 5, 2005
・ ICHL18: Montreal, Canada August 6–11, 2007
・ ICHL19: Nijmegen, the Netherlands Augusts 10–15, 2009

ICHL20, Osaka, Japan will be the first conference to be held in Asia.
