The National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) is a research center for ethnology and cultural anthropology.

Academic Agreement with the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, Russian Academy of Science (Kunstkamera), Russia

The National Museum of Ethnology and the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, Russian Academy of Science (Kunstkamera) concluded an academic cooperation agreement in order to develop academic and cultural relationships and cooperation.

Director-General SUDO Ken'ichi and Director Yuri Kirillovich CHISTOV signed the agreement at a ceremony held at the Kunstkamera on October 21, 2011.

In order to implement exchange in fieldwork, academic and theoretical research, and museum related activities, both institutions will promote a wide-range of activities including exchange of researchers and staff, joint fieldwork, academic and theoretical research, jointly organized meetings, collaboration in exhibitions and educational projects, and information and sharing of publications.
