The National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) is a research center for ethnology and cultural anthropology.

Academic Agreement with the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Center, USA

The National Museum of Ethnology and the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Center concluded an academic exchange agreement in order to strengthen friendly relations between the two institutions through academic collaboration based upon the principles of equality, bilateral benefit and mutual respect.

Director-General SUDO Ken’ichi, the National Museum of Ethnology, and Director Jim ENOTE, the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Center, signed the agreement at the ceremony held at the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Center (USA), June 3, 2012.

Both institutions will promote the development of joint research projects, exchange among researchers, collaborative activities for exhibitions, education, and academic research.
