The National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) is a research center for ethnology and cultural anthropology.

Academic Agreement with the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China

The National Museum of Ethnology, Japan and the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, concluded an academic cooperation agreement in order to develop an international partnership through academic collaboration based on the principles of equality, bilateral benefit, and mutual respect.

Director-General SUDO Ken'ichi and Deputy Director ZHANG Changdong, signed the agreement at a signing ceremony held at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Beijing), August 28, 2012.

Both institutions will promote collaborative activities in academic research including joint research projects, and exchanges of researchers and publications.
