Special Joint Research Fellows

Special Joint Research Fellows

ポスターUp to 15 students are accepted each year as special joint research fellows. They must be in the second year (or a comparable phase) of Ph.D. programs in ethnology, cultural (social) anthropology, or a related field.

The fellowships are for one academic year (normally starting in April of one year and ending in March of the following year). Depending on the students' research, extensions may be granted. On completion of the specified research, researchers participating in this program will receive a certificate from the Director-General of Minpaku, notifying the heads of their departments that their research has been successfully concluded. Successful competition requires presentation of a research report describing the results of the research in question.
