The following hotels offer discounted room rates for ICHL participants, listed from the one nearest to the conference venue to the farthest. To ensure that you get the conference rate, you should contact the hotel of your choice directly at the e-mail addresses indicated below by June 23, 2011. The subject line of your e-mail should read: ICHL2011 accommodation request.

- Accommodation facilities in Kyoto and Osaka are expected to be filled early for July 2011 due to several cultural events taking place in Kyoto. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO BOOK A HOTEL.

Hotel Hankyū Expo Park
This is the nearest hotel to the conference venue, but not close to shopping centers or restaurants. There is a pleasant 15 minute walk through the Natural and Cultural Gardens park to reach the conference venue, or you can take the shuttle bus provided for conference participants.

Senri Hankyū Hotel
This hotel has excellent access to supermarkets, restaurants and izakaya (Japanese style drinking places) and is only a one minute walk away from the Senri-Chūō monorail station. To reach the conference venue requires two stops by monorail, followed by a pleasant 15 minute walk through the Natural and Cultural Gardens park, or you can take a shuttle bus from the hotel provided for conference participants.
