Academic Collaboration with the Taipei National University of the Arts in Taiwan
The National Museum of Ethnology (MINPAKU) signed an agreement with Taiwan’s Taipei National University of the Arts for the smooth collaborative promotion of mutual academic exchange and development. On May 15, 2009, Director-General SUDO Ken’ichi, the National Museum of Ethnology, and President JU Tzong-Ching, the Taipei National University of the Arts, attended the signing ceremony at the university in Taiwan. According to this agreement, the two research institutes will promote academic collaboration. More specifically, for academic research and museum management, the organizations will develop exchange of researchers and staff, conduct collaborative study projects, facilitate joint activities for museum exhibitions and education, and promote the exchange and mutual utilization of academic research materials, academic information and publications.
