The ultimate goal of this training program is to create an environment with information made accessible in academic situations through sign language interpretation. It targets professional sign language interpreters who are interested in developing further skills for academic interpretation. Workshops for interpreters are offered by specialists of interpretation and also linguists. In addition, on-the-job training (OJT) in academic meetings or/and international symposia are arranged for improving their skills, mainly on the topic of but not limited to the linguistics.
